Community Giving Foundation Scholarship

Guidelines and Application

The Community Giving Foundation: Sunbury and The Community Giving Foundation: Selinsgrove have graciously provided sufficient funding to offer one full scholarship to participate in Leadership Susquehanna Valley (LSV). This scholarship, valued at $2,000.00 is paid to LSV, covering the cost associated with LSV’s annual tuition fee for the respective candidate.

To qualify for a full-tuition scholarship from the Community Giving Foundation, a candidate must meet the requirements below:

The candidate should be employed by a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization which serves the Sunbury and/or Selinsgrove area.
The non-profit must show financial need (articulated in the application) and make available a copy of their IRS Form 990.
Upon acceptance to the program and while enrolled, candidates must maintain a good-faith relationship with the Community Giving Foundation as a grant beneficiary. This includes but is not limited to:
- Routinely updating the Board of Directors of the Community Giving Foundation and/or its affiliates on the LSV experience
- Participating in all LSV activities so as to graduate on-time
- Permitting via photo release form both Leadership Susquehanna Valley and the Community Giving Foundation to utilize the candidate’s photo in publications related to the grant.
Notification of scholarship funds received will be given over the phone by the LSV Executive Director and noted in writing on LSV invoicing.
