Leadership Susquehanna Valley(LSV) is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides leadership programs and initiatives to educate and motivate a diverse group of citizens for effective community and organizational leadership. Established in 1994 by representatives of 11 organizations in Northumberland, Snyder and Union counties, LSV has graduated more than 500 class members who have gone on to serve on boards, committees and task forces throughout the Valley.

Graduates of LSV are energized to help serve the needs of the Greater Susquehanna Valley’s rural areas, small boroughs and cities. By serving in leadership positions on nonprofit boards and volunteering their time and talents in other ways, LSV graduates make a positive difference in our communities. Through LSV, they study ways to manage and resolve conflict, and learn about the responsibilities of serving on a community board.
